Suggest the best and value for money tripod

Date: 02 Nov 2015    Group: Computers & Smart Devices    Category: Accessories

I lost the mounting part of my camera tripod. Looked everywhere and could not find it. Tried to buy that piece alone but looks like there are not many shops selling tripod accessories. I tried to buy used one from eBay but not sure if that will match my existing tripod. Considering all these, I decided to buy a new tripod.

Can you suggest me the best tripod below Rs 1,000? I want a sturdy tripod that doesn't shake the picture in small winds. I can go up to Rs 1,500 if I can find a value for money one.

If you look at the online shops like Amazon or Flipkart, you will find a lot of tripods in that price range. A quick search will not show all options in Amazon. I usually search for "tripods" in Amazon and then look at "related products" and "customers also bought" option. That gives much more choices. Even if you don't buy from Amazon, it is the best place to find the best tripods.

I would recommend you check Benro T600EX. The MRP is Rs 2,750 but you can get it for almost half the price in Amazon. It can raise up to 4.5 feet and can carry good weight. Even though it may not be the best choice for professional photographers, it will serve your purpose. After all, you will not find many professional tripods at Rs 1,500 price range. If you are looking for the best and value for money, you can go for Benro T600EX.

I surfed on Amazon.in website and found these models.

1. Fotonica F-145 Tripod
2. Photron Tripod Stedy 400
3. Simpex 333 Tripod
4. SmileDrive Tripod

These tripods are under 1000 Rs. And fits your requirement. They can offer good performance vs cost ratio for your requirement. I think if you are serious photographer then it is better to stretch the budget. Lower the cost, the more quickly the piece is going to lose it's shelf life.

I'd suggest checking out the review at digital photography school for the professional tripods. Those are going to be expensive but you get the idea if you plan on using them in future.
