The camera type you've mentioned is generally called a bridge camera. Its basically larger than a PnS and smaller than a DSLR, that's why it's called 'Bridge'.
The Amazon link that you posted clearly lists that it has built-in Wi-Fi support. On papers, it seems like a good camera, but nothing compares to the quality of a DSLR. The only positive feature I see in this camera is its 60X optical zoom. If optical zoom is not a criteria for you, I suggest buying an entry level DSLR.
Size-wise there isn't much difference between this camera and a DSLR. So there's no point in opting for this over a DSLR. If you need a smaller, compact, easy to carry camera, go for a PnS.

As far as the specification sheet is concerned, the Nikon Coolpix P610 offers WiFi connectivity. You can also make use of its NFC functionality to transfer the images and videos to your Android or iOS phone.
However, if onky size is your concern for moving on to this camera, I do not see any reason for doing so. There is not much of a difference between a mini DSLR and the Nikon Coolpix. It woukd be better for you to opt for a mini DSLR as suggested by Amit.
