Lenovo is launching the new Vibe Shot as a camera centric device. It has been observed that smartphones inspite of having cameras, the manufacturers do not seem to be creating the kind of camera hardware found in professional cameras. Lenovo is trying to fill the gap with its Vibe Shot.

The phone appears much like a camera than a smartphone. It has a camera button, a toggle for camera modes and a lanyard loop. The physical dimensions of the device are 142x70x7. 3 mm. It tilts the scales at 145 grams. The device will commercially be available in White, Red and Grey color variants.
It sports a 5 inch Full HD IPS display at 1080p resolution. The resolution measures 1080x1920 and the pixel density is 441 ppi. The IPS screen offers better viewing angles.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 615 Octa core processor. Clock speed is 1.7 GHz. Being a 64 bit processor coupled with 3 GB RAM helps in great multitasking. Internal memory of the device is an impressive and whopping 32 GB. There is also an expandable memory slot with support upto 128 GB.
The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.0. Customisation is by Lenovo's VibeUI. Lenovo has tweaked the Android Lollipop considerably to suit the VibeUI.
The device carries a 16 MP rear camera with infraRed Auto focus. One can easily observed email that the auto focus is quite faster. There is a tricolor flash just like in the LG G4. The camera features BSI sensor. The camera resolution is 4640x3480. Optical image stabilisation is top notch. Images when viewed on a PC show good color reproduction. The phone also has a 8 MP front camera for video chatting and selfies.
The phone needs nano SIM to function. Other connectivity features of the device are WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB. The phone also has sensors like proximity sensor, accelerometer and ambient light sensor.
Battery capacity of the device is 2900 mAh.
Lenovo has launched this phone as a camera centric device. As such, the camera on the device has been reported to show exceptional performance. It is launching in india in June,2015. No announcement has not yet been made about the price, but it would be available at an estimated price of Rs. 21600.
