All credit cards have almost similar set of rules. Service charges are almost equal across all service providers. Please note that there is nothing like the best credit card. However you can compare different cards on the basis of following points-
Joining fees - Most of the banks waive off joining fees under specific conditions. If you are paying joining fees make sure they are lowest.
Annual fees - This is the fee you pay per annum for the services of credit card. Joining fees and annual fees are waived off during first year, but you need to pay it from second day year onwards. The annual fees are higher for Ards offering some additional services. Select a card that is enough for your needs.
Reward points - If you are a frequent flier by air, go for a Co branded card. Do same if you are a regular at a particular store. This will give you better reward points that will help you encash at the corresponding stores .
Interest on credit - Almost all credit cards offer similar rate of interest. Pay attention to the credit free period. Remember credit cards are not suitable for long term credit facilities.
Terms and conditions - Please note that no matter what your agent promises you about the facilities, it is not worth it if you do not have it on record - either in rule book or in email. If you get such promises, make sure that you get them in writing.
Hope I have helped you in your query satisfactorily. Please remember that every person has different set of preferences in choosing a credit card. So there cannot be a best credit card that would be the best for everyone. .
