As per your question I have answered the best 5 smart device priced under Rs. 10 K so you must go through these first before buying any other. You can buy any of them from various online mega stores and shops at the price tag which I mentioned with them but its very difficult to get Yu Yureka. I have mentioned all of them with their Features, Specifications, Pros and Cons.

There many phones available in this price range. However, since you are more interested in service point of view, I will leave out the ones like Asus and Xolo among some such phones. The reason is simple- they may not have proper service in smaller cities. Now, coming to the point, let me describe in a concise manner a few of the devices here –
Micromax Yu YurekaThis is the "trending" phone, one must say. This phone has completely revolutionized the under 10K segment. The phone has following features which you could not even get in a phone around 6 months ago.
- It is powered by 64Bit Octacore Snapdragon processor clocking at 1.5 GHz speed, coupled with a 2 GB RAM.
- It features a 720 x 1280 resolution 5.5 inch screen protected with Gorilla Glass 3.
- The phone has a rear camera of 13 MP with best in class optics and a whopping 5 MP front camera.
- It carries a 16 GB internal memory that can be extended by 32 GB via MicroSD card.
- A 2500 mAh battery is quite impressive.
The device is priced at Rs.8999.00 on Amazon.
Xiaomi redmi NoteLabelled as the best 4G device before Yu was launched, this is the 3rd phone in India fron Xiaomi.
- Running on 1.6 GHz Octacore Snapdragon 400 processor, it has 2GB of RAM.
- It sports a 5.5 inch 720 x 1280 resolution screen.
- The device carries a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.
- The internal memory of the device is 8 GB that can be expanded to upto 64 GB.
- It has a great battery capacity of 3100 mAh.
The device is available for Rs. 9999 on FlipKart.
Samsung galaxy core PrimeThe best brand is back in sub-10k segment with this good device. The phone has nothing to boast of, but quite decent with its hardware and features.
- The device runs on Quadcore 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 processor and has 1 GB of RAM.
- It sports a 480 x 800 resolution 4.5 inches screen.
- The phone features a 5 MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.
- It has a 2000 mAh battery capacity.
The phone is available for around Rs.9700 across different online stores.
Sony Xperia E3 Launched at Rs.12000, the device is getting price cuts and is now available under 10K bracket.
- Powered by 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, the phone has 1 GB of RAM.
- The device carries a rear camera of 5 MP and a VGA front camera.
- The internal memory of the device is 4GB that can be expanded upto 32 GB.
- The battery capacity of the phone is 2330 mAh.
- It sports 4.5 inches IPS screenat 480 x 854 resolution.
The phone is available for around Rs. 9300 to 9500 across various online stores.
There are a few other devices at slightly higher price than 10k like Lenovo S580, Karbonn Titannium plus and such, I would not recommend them as from service point of view - they will not interest you too much. Even the Asus phones will not be user friendly in terms of service requirements.
My choice I would suggest you to go for Yu or Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G as they are real value for money devices. If your expectations are low on high end specifications and a well known brand, you may go for Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Duos which is a best phone to gift for parents.

I would suggest Micromax Yu Yureka smartphone. It is a very good smartphone with high configuration and reasonable price.
There is probably no need to describe the specifications of the smartphone, seeing the good attempts done by our experts in the above responses. Still! here is a little detail regarding where to buy Micromax Yu Yureka online.
Micromax Yu Yureka has got out of stock from many online stores including Amazon.com. This time, you can buy Micromax Yu Yureka smartphone from ShopClues.com or wait till it gets on stock again.

I strongly disagree with the first post of this query because the question clearly mentions sub 10K phones. Why two of the phones mentioned are priced above this bracket? Also the question mentions the need for better service. Does Lenovo or Asus offer service in every nook and corner of the nation? I intentionally omitted those phones and also Xolo because of service issues. I would also have included Lenovo A 6000 which was labelled as Redmi killer even before its launch. It would be appreciated if we read the question carefully before blindly taking off answers from different sources.

There is only one device in my first post which is above Rs. 10 K and that is Lenovo S850 which comes at the price of Rs. 10,880 which is I guess not much above than Rs. 10 K.

Aman, great that you edited the post and changed the price of Lenovo S580 and HTC desire devices. But my question remains about service in every part of India as far as Lenovo and Asus are concerned.

Thank you so much guys, I'm eager to get yureka but it's hard to get from Amazon now. And the only thing that stops me to go with yu, redmi are their service centers. I read from an article that yureka gets heated up and battery drains soon when we start playing high end games... How about Lenovo A6000?
And please suggest me on service for Xiaomi redmi phones and Lenovo..

Thank you Timmappa Kamat, I have registered for Yureka in Amazon. I know it's hard to get. If I'm not getting Yureka I'll go with Redmi. I'm tired of using Samsung. Got disappointed with the sudden price slash of my phone Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo.

Price slashes are common these days with the speed of new launches and low prices being offered by the likes of Micromax and Xiaomi for high end specifications. Yu is the best bet as of now. Hope you will get the phone soon
