I recently heard that Google is about to introduce its new version called Android Lollipop OS for smart devices. It is also said, Android L or Android Lollipop 5.0 for new OS. I would like to know Android Lollipop features and what all are the branded Smartphones are going to release with this new OS?

Yes, you heard it right. Google has introduced a new OS named Android Lollipop 5.0 or Android L.

1. The new Android Operating system has a bold and colourful display.

2. It provides a Smart Lock Feature which secures the phone or tablet by pairing it with a trusted device.

3. It has an excellent feature that lets you call your friends, access your SMSes, Photos etc. on another phone using your Android Lollipop account even if you've forgotten your phone.

4. It also has a Guest User feature which lets others use your phone without sharing any personal info.

5. It has a pin screen feature that lets another user access just the content you've allowed and nothing else.

6. The quick setting feature which is accessible by swiping down from top of the screen, lets users activate flashlight, hotspot, screen rotation and cast screen controls.

7. It lets you setup privacy controls so that you don't get disturbed during a particular time. You can still allow certain calls from specific numbers to go through this privacy controls if you want.

8. Android L lets photography lovers capture full resolution frames around 30 FPS and for video lovers UHD 4K video playback.

9. It also supports more than 68 languages.
