How to add friends on social networking site Ello?

Date: 06 Oct 2014    Group: Social Networking    Category: Other Social Networking Topics

Ello which was created in 2013 by a group of artists and designers as a private social network to share artwork & connect with friends is the best looking networking website I have seen. It was only recently launched as a public version. I went to this website and found that there are very few users at the moment but this network is speculated to be the next big thing in the world of social media. What do you think- will it grow as big as Facebook? I tried adding some friends on the site but am confused whether I should click on 'Noise' for it. The display page and format is entirely different which has left me a bit confused. Also, not many help pages are provided on internet. Please guide me on this website's features.

Did you start using the new social network called Ello? Want to know some tips and tricks to use Ello?

Ello is the latest social networking site that has been in the news recently. It is quite simple and anti-Facebook as of now. People are getting attracted to Ello social networking site because it does not display ads and is very easy to navigate with relatively less features as compared to other popular social networking sites.

To invite your friends to Ello, you need to generate the Ello invite code by clicking on the "Invite" button followed by clicking the "Generate Invite Code" button. Then, you can simply enter your friend's email id to invite him / her to Ello.

If you don't have a friend who is on Ello, then, you might wonder how to join Ello? In such a case, you can go to the Ello invites website i.e. www.elloinvites.ga, where upon submitting your email id, you are able to get invite code for Ello. With the beta version of Ello creating such a hype, it would be interesting to see the actual public response when Ello's final version is released for usage by all. By the looks of it, Ello is based on the concept of "keep it simple" and "free of ads".
