How to make your car Wi-Fi enabled

Date: 25 Sep 2014    Group: Computers & Smart Devices    Category: Internet, Networking and Connectivity

I'm looking to install my Nexus 7 (Wi-fi only) in my car and use it as my primary music player. I also plan to use Google Maps on it to navigate around. I'm looking for options on how to make my car internet enabled? How can I make sure that all the devices in my car have internet access all the time? Please let me know your suggestions.

BSNL has now launched an internet service for the car users in India. Internet connection can be accessed while travelling. The setting up the WiFi service in a car would cost around Rs. 6000.
You need to set up A WiFi antenna on the car. The speed could be around 3.5 Mbps.

Even Airtel has also been heard for launching car Wifi services, but in my opinion, BSNL would be the better choice in terms of both the cost factor and the service maintenance.
