Is there any ways to connect a cable modem to a DSL connection?

Date: 24 Sep 2014    Group: Computers & Smart Devices    Category: Internet, Networking and Connectivity

Is it technically possible to connect a cable modem to a DSL connection? What I am trying to find out is, if I have an existing cable modem, can I use the same device if I switch to a DSL based broadband service? Or, do I need to purchase another DSL modem for that purpose? Is there any kind of connectors available to make these two compatible?

Do you need to use a cable modem as a DSL modem or the other way around? Find out the compatibility issues and your options to use them interchangeably.

Both the modems are working on two different technology, both the modems having different data speed/bit rate, cable input and cable type (twisted pair v/s coaxial). It is not possible to make either comparable.
