W3schools and Codecademy is the best place to learn of HTML, CSS and Javascript. I started learning most of the HTML concepts from W3Schools. Now I started using Codecademy which I came to know about it later. Codecademy is just like a live class. You need to follow the instructions and do the code. Once you get the output you will be moved to next lesson. By this way you can learn them by order. Each course consists of several chapters. In Codecademy you are forced to code to move to next chapter. If you are new to HTML, CSS or Javascript I recommend you to go for Codecademy. If you just need reference and you are already familiar with the language you can go for W3Schools. W3Schools is very good source for reference.
