When you share photos there is a option to set who can see your posts. If anybody is able to comment on your photos then it means that your privacy settings are Public by default.
Now you have two options, one is that you can set the default privacy settings to 'Friends'. This way any of your new posts will be seen by your friends only. Only they will be able to Like or Comment on them. Although your photos or status updates might still appear in other people's feed who are friends of your friends but they won't be able to Like or Comment on it.
Other option is to set the privacy settings on each of your photos or status updates when you post it. Set it to Friends before hitting the Publish button.
