Buying my FIRST smartphone[should be within Budget] from INDIA

Date: 10 Jul 2014   Posted By: komal     Group: Computers & Smart Devices    Category: Smartphones

I am confused on which phone to buy. What I'm mainly looking for in very plain and detailed language is as follows:

1) I want a thin phone (also length-wise not big) + full hd screen [amoled display, any nice one]

2) I don't want a phablet since I already have a tablet

3) reading-wise - I mainly read small articles + mail NOT big/full length books

4) videos - require phone only for watching small youtube clips or 1/2 hour shows but NOT movies

5) games - only moderate use

6) work-related - ms office + pdf + gps + other basic and many cool apps

7) hardware - soft buttons to type(I text a lot)

8) need micro sd card to store my data and good RAM memory+ nice voice/audio/video recording

9) 3G or better 4G + aeroplane mode feature

10) great music speakers

11) dual sim

12) good battery life

13) OTHER DETAILS - I WOULD prefer a newly launched mobile (launched in 2014 atleast) since I will be using it for ATLEAST 2 years (I'm not a big fan of phones as watches]

I feel I'll be requiring Android OS not Windows/Blackberry OS according to what I have heard

14) Budget is important - since I am kind of rough and irresponsible with phones, my budget is Rupees.15000 add less 2000 maximum. Around 250 US$ (I DON'T wanna extend to Rupees 20,000 range since it will become another leap to next category of phones)

Also although these are few requirements I would prefer a phone which has much much more for me to explore and do, with great other features and apps, etc which I am unaware of.

Please suggest me a few phones that meet the above criteria.

According to your requirement, you should either buy Moto G or Moto G second generation. It fits your budget as well as has the latest features. It also supports your feature requirements.
