I am using a Windows phone and I will tell you about the camera features available for it. We can find several camera apps from the store that is really helpful to capture different types of pictures in your daily life. I have almost 10 types of camera lenses installed in my Windows phone and it doesn't include different modes available in each lenses. Nokia Camera, Bing Vision, Fresh Paint, Nokia Smart Cam, Panorama etc are some of them. If you have a Windows 8.1 device then it will be perfect for your camera needs because this latest version comes with much improved features as well as newly launched camera lenses.

For Windows :
Nokia Lumia 1080 is my recent phone. Nokia has developed many dedicated camera apps for Windows. Many camera apps came pre-installed in my phone. The best one is Cinematograph. With Cinematograph you can take flash photos. It is very funny and intuitive app. I didn't find anything special in other camera apps. However there are apps to take burst photo, panorama, HDR etc by default which is not very exciting to me.

In Windows store you will find separate sections for Nokia apps. There you can get many apps related to the camera. If you interested in cameras then Windows Nokia phone is a very good option. It seems Nokia is interested in developing camera phones. You might have noticed there was a phone from Nokia with 41MP.

For Android :
Android unlike Windows doesn't have default app to do the task but there are lots of opportunities available in the Play store. I personally find Paper Camera app interesting. With this app you can take pictures like drawings on paper. All the photos captured using this app look like line drawings in a paper.

I had a Sony phone running Android and it had its camera app where I can add cartoon objects to the photo. There are few inbuilt objects like mustache, birthday cap, frog, balloons etc.

For iOS :
In iPhone, HDR is there by default. This HDR facility is available only in selected Android phones. For iOS there is an app called GoCam which is used to take selfies (taking own photo) without touching the phone. Its major use is touch less selfies and there are many other features like filters, timers etc.
