My friend wanted to buy a good smartphone under Rs 6000. Is there any good smartphone under this small budget range? If there is any then please tell me its specifications, features and price. Also give me your opinion regarding that smartphone. The smartphone should contain following features:

1.Large screen size more than 4.5 inches that too capacitive touchscreen
2.At least 3MP camera
3.Android version more than 2.3
4.GPS
5.Navigation technology
6.Battery more than 1500mAh
7.1GB RAM

Is it possible to buy a smartphone under Rs 6000 price range? Is it worth buying cheap smartphones? Or, should you spend more and buy a better phone?

More the size of the screen cost will be more. There is no phone with screen size greater than 4.5 inch for Rs.6000. The starting price of Android mobile with 4.5 inch screen size is Rs.8000. However you can get Android phone with 4 inch screen for Rs.6000. Only phone that match your specification is Lava Iris 406Q. Its screen size is 4 inch, has 1 GB RAM, Android KitKat V 4.4 out of the box, Quad Core 1.2 GHz CPU and 1700 mAh battery. Review for this mobile is pretty good. Many users quoted it has some heating issue and camera is poor. It is a good deal for the price you buy. I have checked many mobile under Rs.6000, none of them has 1 GB RAM. You will get only 512 MB RAM mobile under Rs.6000 as of now. Only mobile with 1 GB under Rs.6000 is Lava Iris 406Q. It has 5 MP camera which is more than your expectation. Go grab this phone if you like the design. If 4.5 inch screen is a must then visit whole sale bazaar where you can get China phones with your expectation.

You can buy WHAM smartphone in your budget and your requirement can match with their brand smartphones. Also, there are many smartphones from Micromax and Karbonn brands that they have released some of their latest smartphones matching your stated configuration, you may try them out.

You can go with Samsung Star Pro smartphone too on your budget. Samsung GT-S7262 Galaxy Star Pro (White) and Samsung GT-S7262 Galaxy Star Pro (Black) that matches your need and which cost around Rs 5300 to 5900 respectively. However, there are pros and cons as they are 2G feature phones and without GPS with 512 RAM and no front camera.

To be frank, except Nokia Smartphone there is no any other branded smartphone that gives better battery back up though it is costly if your prefer Nokia with Lumia pair. However, Nokia introduced Android smartphone that may or may not match your demand since Nokia's Android OS smartphone is not up to the expectation of the users.
