Date: 18 Jun 2014    Group: Blogging and Websites    Category: General Questions

Hello Friends,

I am using an old model of Nokia smartphone which runs on Symbian OS. I am willing to track FIFA 2014 scores but most of the apps are designed for either of Android, iOS, Windows or Kindle kind of high end smartphone OS.

I can browse websites with the built in browser in Symbian. So, can you please suggest some good and light websites to fit my need; So that I can track FIFA 2014 World cup scores from my phone browser.

Thank You.

You can visit the official website of FIFA i.e. www.fifa.com. Other website like www.espnfc.com is also a good website for latest updates on FIFA 2014. You can even log on to Yahoo website and go to the Sports section for latest updates and scores of FIFA-2014.

If you are using a phone running on symbian OS, then the most suitable and convenient way to track the FIFA World Cup will be to take the advantage of UC Browser. Yes, UC Browser has decorated the browser's user interface fully for the World Cup where you can get live updates, fixtures etc that too on mobile experience. That means you never get trouble while viewing it. If you have not installed the UC Browser yet, then install it to be on the track.

Your phone will most probably running on s60v3 or s40 Symbian OS. There are apps available for these OS. If you're need to know the scores of FIFA WorldCup 2014 through websites, then like Nityananda said, you can download and install any web browser.
I would suggest you to download Opera mini or UC Browser.
Here are the official downloading links for Operamini & UC browser
For Opera Mini - m.opera.com
For UC Browser - wap.ucweb.com

The Opera site will automatically select your mobile and suggest you to download the best version. When downloading UC, you may need to choose which OS platform you have.
After Downloading and Installation, you can browse internet with ease and great speed when comparing to built in browser.
Here are the top websites which provide live score updates of FIFA Worldcup 2014
- Official Website - Fifa.com
- flashscore.com
- espnfc.com
There are tons of websites but these are fast and you can rely on it.
