My Moto G phone does not detect SIM contacts. How to solve the issue?

I recently bought a Moto G and I am facing a problem related to SIM. My SIM card is working very well but contact saved in SIM are not shown in the list of contacts. How to solve such issue of SIM in Moto G? Are there any changes need to be made to setting? Please give step by step information about it.

As you said, there was a SIM contacts problem in Moto G. Lot users facing this problem after their Android KitKat software update.

Here are my suggestions on How to solve SIM contact issue on Moto G:

Try to import the SIM contacts, by going to Contacts and "Import/Export" option.

If it doesn't work, then:

You must install an independent third party application which can copy SIM contacts to phone memory.
Google Play Store provides many SIM management/contact management applications. Just try to download and import your contacts.

Thank you Harish. It works. I opened 'People' -> Options and import/export -> Import from SIM card.

I tried It and I successfully imported all my SIM contacts.
