    No Wireless Signal D-Link DSL-2750U but wireless LED glowing bright.

    I purchased a D-Link DSL-2750U Modem/4-Port+Wireless Router from Saboo Computers back in November 2011. At that time it was the best option.

    I use Airtel 3MBPS Broadband service. Till April 4th 2014 I never encountered any problem. But from 5th April 2014 when I Boot up the Modem/Router, I get Internet in the wired Desktop connection but no wireless signal on my Laptop or Tablet or Print server (Canon Silex C-6700WG) for my Canon LBP 2900B Laser Printer or my Panasonic Smart TV through TP-Link TL-WR702N wireless to LAN converter, all of which used to work nicely till 4th April 2014 evening.

    The problem started from 5th April 2014 morning when I switched on the Modem/Router. All the indicator LED's were working the way it should including the wireless LED indicator. But there was no wireless signal available in any of my wireless device!

    Rebooting the modem/router after waiting for 30 seconds had no effect, but the Wireless LED indicator is always glowing brightly.

    The only method which worked was restoring the initial settings from my backed-up settings file "backupsettings.conf" using the web interface from my desk top computer which is connected through wired LAN. It is really frustrating.

    Could you please provide me with any solution? Apparently I failed to find any valid reason. I hope it has no replaceable battery inside to save the configuration settings like computer's motherboard. For the time being I am keeping it switched on 24X7, which I hate to do during Calcutta summer.

    I think it is better to contact D-Link customer care by calling the toll-free number 0832-6689999. You can also send a mail by describing the problem to DDS.Support@dlink.co.in

    D-Link technical stuff will definitely help you out in this regard. You can also register a complaint online using the link http://dds.dlink.co.in/fp/customerRegistration.aspx
