Which are the most reliable firewalls in market?

Learn more about network security, firewalls and antivirus to protect a small office or a home office.

I have recently started an office and I am very much concerned about the network security here. I am looking for a dedicated firewall for my systems. I have inquired about some. I am a little confused between Dell Sonic Firewall, Checkpoint Firewall-1. Since dedicated firewalls are a bit expensive, budget is my main consideration along with security. Guide me on the above stated firewalls and if you feel there are some better firewalls in the similar price range, please tell me that too.

If you are looking for a quality firewall, you may consider Cisco ASA firewalls. Cisco ASA 5500 and ASA 5500-X Series Next-Generation firewalls are especially made for small and branch offices. For high performance and at low cost budget, Cisco ASA firewalls are very good option. In case of limited budget, you may check TRENDnet Dual WAN Advanced VPN Router (TW100-BRV324).

    The other options are:

    1. Checkpoint Safe@Office 1000N
    2. D-Link DFL-210
    3. Netgear ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit Firewall (FVS336G)
    4. SonicWall TZ 200

    With Best Regards,

    Kokil

Firewall: It is a software or hardware that controls the incoming and outgoing network based on applied rule set.

Don't purchase Sonic Firewall because i myself cracked this software in my college life . So i will suggest you to go for CheckPoint Firewall.

These are few firewalls which are best in market and highly protective and effective. Try these and give your feedback here.
