I think you should install the latest version of Google Chrome. This might solve the issue. As you install and uninstall the same version more than once. You should first try to install latest or beta version of Google Chrome. This might help you. Otherwise you can contact Google Chrome support centre for more information.

You're right, Some webpages are getting crushed sometimes in Google chrome browser. Indeed, it is really very annoying when you are into middle of something to upload on internet and your browser says "Webpage Crushed". In that case refresh does not work and it may redirect you to the initial entry page of the website. And you may lose the contents you were trying to upload.
If something like this happens just use "Back button" and you can get back the webpage without losing your contents.

Perhaps! You have installed some Plugins or Extension/Toolbar recently which may cause this issue. You better un-install or remove all the un-ncessary things from Browser Settings.

Go to Wrench Button in Chrome.
Select Tools -> Extension. Now delete all of them.
Again Tools -> Task Managers. Now End all the unknown tasks. Try to check out your control panel, there you could find the toolbar/plugins which causes this issue.

You can also avoid the webpage crushing by running Chrome in Safe mode. To run Chrome in safe mode. Start Chrome and Press "Ctrl+Shift+N". Chrome in safe mode without any toolbar or extension will open and it won't get crushed at all.
