Every company tries to increase the sale of their products saying that theirs are the best products. But as a reviewer of the products, we can only compare products and say that the product reviewed is one of the best in the market. For this we must compare the similarly priced products and then compare the features of the products, their after sales service and their related price component.

So, I have compared the two similarly priced products from the famous brands of Eureka Forbes and Kent. There are water purifiers in high range of prices. But I have selected the two products with mid price-range which is affordable by many.

The first one is Eureka Forbes AquaSure Nectar RO priced Rs. 13700 above at different stores. The product can be directly purchased by contacting Eureka Forbes. The company would send its technicians to fix the product at your home and take the payment. It is a 6 litres storage type of water purifier. It does water purification in 4 stages. So we can call it a multi-stage RO water purifier. It has an interactive digital display. The interactive digital display will show the cartridge life. So, you can be assured of safe water supply. This advanced RO water purifier destroys the disease causing bacteria, virus and protozoa. There is an auto flush and auto cleaning system and auto shut off facility. Once the storage tank is full, the pump is automatically shut off and the water flow to the tank from your tap stops. One disadvantage of this water purifier is that it does not have a stand to keep your water bottle under the outlet for water. The body of the filter is made of ABS plastic. The power consumption is 40W. It works on 230V AC ((50 Hz). The body dimensions are 340 x 260 x 483 mm (wxdxh). The weight of the gadget is 8.3 kg. After-sales service is good. There is a one year manufacturer's warranty for the water purifier.

Kent has brought into the market its Kent Pride water purifier which compares well with AquasSure Nectar RO. The Kent Pride is priced Rs.13,688 and above at several stores like Guruji Electronics, Electronics World, Sargam Electronics and Nishtha Inc. Compared to 6 litres storage capacity of AquaSure Nectar, Kent Pride has a storage capcity of 8 litres. Against 4 purification states of AsqaSure Nectar, Kent Pride has 5 purification stages. It does sediments purification and carbon purification. In addition, the company speaks of its micronic filter, UF (Ultra filtration) and RO (Reverse Osmosis) technology purification. The company professes that their RO purifier makes dissolved salts, heavy metals, chemicals, micro-organisms and other purities to drain out. In the later stages of purification, its resin carbon cartridge polishes water to ensure fresh tasting water. According to the company, this purifier ensures that the natural minerals are not drained out from the water by its TDS controller. The UV lamp power is 0.01 micron. It is available in white colour. The body is made of ABS pastic. The input voltage is 160 – 300 v AC (50 Hz). Its weight is 9 kg. It comes with one year warranty. After-sales service is reliable.
